Stabler-Leadbeater Apothecary Museum
Historic Letter Mounts
Following major renovations to the Stabler-Leadbetter Apothecary Museum, the newly restored historic letters dating to the mid-1800s we're handed off to Graham Campbell to remount. Rather than installing them in a like-for-like fashion as they were, he took a 21st century approach to mount them in a non-destructive manner. Using the latest 3D scanning and printing technology, he created custom brackets for each letter along with a cleat mount system to allow the letters to be individually removed. The letters were rehung in their original position using a projected period photograph as a template.
